The first week of practice is in the books and it was great seeing familiar and new faces out on the track! If you didn’t make it to practice this week it is not too late. Come on by and start training.

We practice 5 days a week, Mon-Fri, rain or shine. Arrive by 3:45 and ready to run at 3:50. Ready to run means shoes on, water drank, sunscreen on, and ready to step out onto the track.

If an athlete is unable to make a practice they need to notify Coach Kevin and their event coach using the “Planned Absence” functionality in XCStats.

Setting and striving towards goals is an important piece of athletics. This first week of practice we will be working with the athletes to create short and long term goals. These goals will help us have tangible things to work towards. I like how Zig Ziglar put it, “Setting goals helps bring your future into your present and the present is the only time we can take action.”
